Landscapes begin with a journey. Collaboration begins with the client and designer to create something special. Each site is unique and often the site dictates what will happen. The Smith project was no exception. Located in the Midlothian, VA the site had multiple obstacles - steep grade, fill dirt, resource protection areas and site access. A large retaining wall was added to cradle a new swimming pool. Material selections included travertine tile, powder coated aluminum railings, granite counter tops, plant material and lighting.
